At Serenity Farm Bread, located in Leslie, Arkansas bakers use techniques perfected in Europe over the centuries to create naturally leavened bread. Using only certified organic flours, unrefined "Lima" brand sea salt, and filtered water, we rely on natural sourdough starter to leaven the bread. Serenity Farm Bread makes many different kinds of sourdough bread, including country french, European rye, whole wheat, walnut raisin, whole spelt, and light wheat with toasted sesame seeds. Flat rounds of focaccia bread are available, also. Try the garlic-herb or tomato-olive focaccia! And for the sweet tooth, try Serenity Farm Bread's famous fruit-filled loaves. Some are filled with apples, walnuts, raisins and honey. Or you might prefer the fig almond loaf. You never know what special treat will meet your arrival.

We are located in the old Farmer's Bank Building in scenic downtown Leslie, approximately 90 miles north of Little Rock, 60 miles north of Conway, 20 miles south of the Buffalo River, 50 miles south of Harrison and 45 mile southwest of Mountain Home, Arkansas, near the Buffalo National River. Directions: Take U.S. 65 to Leslie. Turn east on State Highway 66. Go one block and turn right at the YIELD sign. Go one more block and you're there! Best times to visit: We are open Monday - Friday from 8 to 5, Saturday from 9 to 4, and Sunday from 9 to 3.

Want to see the baker taking out hot loaves? Ordinarily we bake Mon, Tue, Thu, and Friday. Not Wednesday! But come later in the day to see fresh bread.
